The First Note
Sparkle Music studios was formed by Helen Clarke and John Oakley. Helen born in 1980 has had album success with 'Wish upon a star' and is currently recording her second album. Helen has achieved a Bachelor of Art Music degree, Post Graduate Certificate in Education and performed as resident pianist at the Petwood Hotel Woodhall Spa and numerous cruise ships. John has also sung and played at many prestigious venues over the world and together they perform as 'Sparkle'.
Teach-In Harmony
Helen teaches Piano, keyboard and Flute to adults and children from beginners to diploma level. She prepares students for ABRSM exams, GCSE Music and A Level Music. She also teaches a crash course for grade 5 theory both in person and online.
John teaches Violin, Guitar and drums also to adults and children. He teaches classical, Rock, Pop and also prepares for ABRSM and Rockschool exams right up to grade 8 level. He has one of the highest pass rates with the youngest age of students taking grade 8. He also teaches theory during all of his lessons.
Online Lessons
We have been teaching online piano, guitar, drums, violin, flute, thoery and keyboard to students worldwide for over a decade. We have students from Hong Kong, Australia, South Africa, London, Wales to name a few places. Lessons are still one to one indiviaally talilored and students can also take exams in their relative countries. For theory we also have a live online whiteboard making it as though we are sat next to students with a piece of paper!
